The New Kent Trojans led after day one of the Damascus Invitational in Maryland and ended up placing 4th after losing two wrestlers to injury in the quarter final matches. There were twenty teams represented, mostly from Maryland and over 30 top 5 finalist from last years Maryland state tournament. The Trojans had 9 wrestlers medal for the tournament.
