King William is a VERY good football team, and young. They will be a HANDFUL in the future. BY FAR the most talented team SD had played all season. SD picked the right time to play their best football of the season. From what I saw from both teams tonight, if SD had played like that all year I don't think they would have been beaten. Good Luck to KW in the future. From the ones I talked to after the game (I believe a couple were coaches) they were great people and proud of their kids. It is a shame that either one of these teams had to lose tonight. Great football game

Didn't SD play Riverheads this season?

Yes, Riverheads isn't super talented, but they run their system to near perfection and are supremely disciplined. They have an amazing coaching staff, and no matter what their talent level is, they always do great. That is from the coaching they have

Yes I have heard over the years that Riverheads have excellent coaching and history. I certainly have nothing but respect for those few coaches that are consistent winners year in and year out regardless of their talent level or lack thereof. Well done. Imagine what they could do if they had a superstar...

I wonder how Riverheads talent level compare to this year's Altavista squad (who recently had their own superstar as we all know) I guess that we will soon find out. That game features some great coaching, could be a chess match.

Not saying Riverheads doesn't have stars, they have 3 great backs (one of which wouldn't be a starter if not for injury to one of the backs). I just think talent level wise that King William had them beaten. And they are young, so they will be a handful next year. Its hard to not be impressed with the talent they have when one back is 6-2 225, another 6-1 210, I think 5-9 195 with great speed, and a QB who is 6-4. There were others who looked like great athletes as well
