Green Run's offense is one of the most potent around. QB Xavier Davis along with his cast of receivers - UNC commit Tayon Holloway, sophomore stud Keylen 'Brodie' Adams and sophomore Tasean Young-Stieff - form a very prolific passing attack. I wouldn't read too much into this result, though.
Green Run jumped out fast 33-0, Salem behind a freshman QB making his first start scored 19 unanswered, and Stallions won by double-figures. But arguably the three most important players for the Sun Devils in DE Ari Watford (5 sacks), RB Ravon Moore and QB Angelo Liotta were out because of injury.
That being said, Green Run will counter with one of its top defensive players, sophomore LB/SS Tyler Baker (UVA offer), was out.
I think the real barometer game for Green Run comes on Oct. 1st at Ocean Lakes, a traditional Class 6 contender that's undefeated at the moment.
