GALAX AGAIN!

I tried to diplomatically say it all year. Galax is the best 1A soccer team (and to be perfectly honest they are having a down year). They are putting together a resume that will rival Blacksburg and Mason when the dust settles. This was an extremely young team that there was simply no answer for.
Well done, young men. Well done, Coach Barkley!
Now if only we could get a 2A school in the West to finally take one.

Galax started 3 seniors Saturday and feature a roster with 18 players below the junior level of high school. Winning 4 state titles in 5 years is likely just the beginning of this run!
