Gate City beats Strasburg in five sets

Just found this posted on the CMD messageboard:

Gate City won first match 30-28.Strasburg wins match 2 and 3 25-15 and 25-23.Gate City wins forth match 25-22 and pulls it out in the fifth match 16-14 for the win.They will play the winner of the Bath County/Matthews game at 9:30 tomorrow for the championship.Congrats to Coach Amy reed and the Lady dEVILS.

You fought the hardest you could. No one can take that away from you. Don't be ashamed of the result.

You never lost a match in September, October and half of November. What an accomplishment.

Very few teams make it to the state round three years in a row. What an accomplishment.

I don't doubt for a second this hurts. It will hurt for a little while. But soon you will realize what you accomplished and smile the biggest smile.

Those people smiling at you: Your family, your friends, your coaches, your fans. They adore you. And they are so very proud of you.
