I agree - I was kind of surprised by the margin of the win - Floyd always has a solid team year in year out.
I saw Carroll Co play last year in Salem. I must say, " I was impressed". Carroll Co gave King's Fork a fit most of the game last season. They will be a factor in Class 4. Pizzzzza, where are some of the playoffs being held, leading up the state finals. Will the Salem Civic Center be a playoff site?
I felt King's Fork should've beaten Monacan in that championship game last season.
But they have to be one of the favorites this season, especially with Megan Walker having graduated from Monacan.
Millbrook to me is the heavy favorite - 11-0 - and is just blowing teams away.
Last time I checked, KF was 7-0 on the season.
Carroll unofficially is 8-2 - having split with Galax and losing to Fleming.
And throw in Wm Byrd (10-1) and Lake Taylor (8-2) - it's going be an interesting 4A tournament this year the girls.

Well my opinion on the King's Fork vs Monacan is the refs made that game close. I really believe that if the refs hadn't made all those ticky tack foul calls on Jaden Morris, that game would've been much different. Those kids weren't allowed to play. I saw J. Morris single handedly beat Wm Fleming by herself the year prior. She was probably the 2nd or 3rd best player in Va behind Megan Walker. Just my opinion.

Yeah, that loss Carroll County had to Galax was quite puzzling to say the least. Galax, from what I have read is very young and are not that good.
