I ran across this article from the Free Lance Star interviewing the young man who plays on the OLine at Jayem and Coach Richard Serbay. It talks about OL play at Jayem, but it is about much more than that. I have always had the utmost of respect for Coach Serb and everything he stands for as a man and as a coach. He has a heart as big as Fredericksburg! My best wishes to the Jackets as they look to capture the 3A title!

The record speaks for itself and I can assure you that the game show Serbay himself puts on is worth the price of admission. He is quite unique as a Coach. With a group of 2nd teamers, Serbay could make a winner. A silk purse from a sow's year. That's how good he is and I don't think there's more you can say about a Coach.

He loves this game and this school so much, he may Coach another 20 years. As long as he is, JM will always be in the State Champion mix.
