It was actually 20 on Gretna for over 200 yards. Gretna has more yards in penalties than Nelson had total offense. Had bunch of personal fouls for hitting to hard. Nelson had 4-5 players get hurt, nothing serious, but think refs were trying to protect them towards end and most weren't no different than hits I've seen all year. Gretna has been extremely undisciplined all year. They going to have to work on that. Had to be record for defensive off sides for entire year with most giving teams first downs when they had them stopped. Can lose a lot of close games that way.Refs threw 1 flag on NC, at least 15 on Gretna.
I have seen some of the most terrible calls against Gretna all year but when your players are undisciplined, fighting, getting mouthy with refs probably should be expected.Most of the flags came from NC side of the field. I don't think refs on Gretna side threw any flags.
