Radford is playing 5 games in 8 days including 2 against Floyd. Football pushed their schedule back and then one week with snow/ice postponed enough games back to create this. And for some reason, TRD is going to play a district tourney this year when they haven't played one in forever which also seems like a waste of time.

Radford is playing 5 games in 8 days including 2 against Floyd. Football pushed their schedule back and then one week with snow/ice postponed enough games back to create this. And for some reason, TRD is going to play a district tourney this year when they haven't played one in forever which also seems like a waste of time.

It's unfortunate but this is very common in Region D as well with the previous weather and makeup games. Lots of teams are going to be playing lots of games in a short amount of time. They are 15, 16, 17, 18 year old kids. They can handle it. These kids can play at parks and rec centers, and school gyms for 3 to 4 hours daily for 5 days a week or more and do it year around. It's tougher on us, the fans and parents and school officials than it is the kids. The kids freakin love it. They would play a game every day if logistics and money and time allowed for it.
