A few posters have been trying to get some football talk going. I thought we could break it down by Region. I'm definitely no expert on the whole state so I'd like to hear your thoughts from each Region. I posted all the teams from each Region and the 2023 Finals result from each Region for reference. You can post your thoughts on the Region you're most familiar with or give your thoughts on all of them.

Phoebus, Dinwiddie, Tuscarora, Lewis.

I think it’s going to be hard to beat Varina this year. Huguenot has the best haul of skill players in the state but Varina has a really good mix of big boys and skill. If they have a running game, I believe they’ll be the team to knock off Phoebus. Varina’s defense will be very elite.

Dinwiddie looks like they’ve gotten a couple of dudes in. I’m not disrespecting them when I don’t include them in the 804 talk. As far as I’m concerned, Billy Mills is the best coach in C4 hands down. I’m just more familiar with Varina and Huguenot has. Any of those 3 teams will certainly give Phoebus a game come December.
