What's with the fight that supposedly broke out? Any details? I heard there was a big commotion in this one
2 guys - one maybe 18-21 and another more like 40 or so exchanged punches in the bleachers over on the GW side. Then a GW cheerleader got involved. I can only assume that the cheerleader was the young man's girlfriend or sister because she came running over and threw several punches . Cops intervened quickly. Danville is not a fun place to play.
Danville, Martinsville they all throw down pretty good. Wish it had been a better game, the Eagles took the heart out of the Dogs early in this one. On to Halifax Thursday, I hope we show up ready because the Comets always play us tough.
GWD was too tough for us tonite. The one consolation we get from this, is knowing we won't play a better team than GWD from here on. That includes Gate City, East Rock, Madison and R. E. Lee. We just ran into a buzzsaw this evening.
Darn right. Dawgs still are the top dog in 2a. GW is on a mission.
I hope so. For the city of Danville. I hope GW, Martinsville boys and girls, and MV girls bring it home. I thought my Dan River boys had something but they won't beat the Dawgs.
