Incredibly tragic! He was the youngest brother of former GW standout and current Cincinati Bearcats football player Chris Burton.
After hearing more about this situation, it was even more of a tragedy than it appears. It was not just a tragedy for this young man and his family, but a tragedy for a community.
I wish there was a workable answer to stop this stupidity. I suppose if there was, we would not be having this discussion.
This young man has good parents. He had a lot of good opportunities. But yet, he chose a lifestyle that put him in a position for trouble to find him. And it did, in the worst conceivable way.
What is the answer? Is there an answer?
The only possible positive outcome of this young man dying is if a few others wake up.
The road that this boy, and yes, he was still a boy with an entire adult life ahead of him, that road ends in nothing but an abyss. The only choice is to take an exit and get on a different road. How oh how do we get them to see this?
