Agreed. If you're gonna give up games, you gotta be prepared to take the Ls. Rye Cove ended their season so I can't see them fighting to not take losses, but other schools may try and skirt those rules. It's a shitty thing to do. If you're not gonna play the game and not gonna try and make it up, you'll unfortunately have to take the loss.

Good idea you momo haha you'll learn one of these days I know a lot more than you'll ever know. Like when I was revealing all that info a few years back that was proven true but I was told I was wrong. Every bit of that was from the starting QB I still have the texts. It may hurt yours or others feelings that I blast Harner publicly but it's all true and finally F'ing FINALLY others are seeing it too. Believe what you want it is absolutely no concern of mine but as always I come with facts from the source the kids on the field. The little respect he had from the kids is completely gone now and will not be earned back it's to far gone at this point. And one last thing thanks for letting me live rent free in your head. All those years coaching sandlot sure has bought me some juicy behind the scenes access for some reason. Maybe that's what happens when the kids respect you.
Well said. I wish Rye Cove the best and hope they get their program back on track soon enough. Tough times for the small D1 schools, only going to get worse as participation in football goes down across all levels.

An absolute idiot and yeah makes sense seeing as they are the ones he coaches. I might just have to or I'll wait him out and until the fans and parents force him out and one of the rumored replacements comes to town.
Just curious as to who the rumored replacements might be if you don't mind sharing?
If they do decide to go with another coach who would you want? Personally I think Stephen James would turn the program back around but that's just my opinion.
Not alot of people know I don't think I may be wrong but HS is back helping a little. Larry McCoy has had talks, As said above Stephen James has been mentioned. The options are 100% there it's GW you won't really find a better booster group. The community loves football and it breeds talent and with this new giant factory coming soon more will come. GW is a prime area for guys looking for the 1A level. Everything a coach would need to win is here it's a program with a history of winning so you're not rebuilding anything. The main job would be getting the kids to come out and play. Yes most schools have seen a drop off in numbers but GWs is sad we used to had teams with 50+ on the roster. Now we're lucky if we have 25 and sure some of that is covid some of it is the kids and some of it is the culture. But most of it is the coach the kids will not play for someone who they don't like and they won't waste their time if they know hey as soon as we play a legit contender we get beat. And yeah sure the excuse is well you weren't a real contender but that's not the case it's getting out coached at every level.
Larry McCoy plain and simple he knows the game in and out. He played pro ball in Europe for several years and was one of the best RBs in the game over there. He graduated from GW and played on some of the best GW teams in the last 25 years. He knows the culture, community and the kids he is the perfect fit.
