I am not doing the picks this season, but the game that intrigues me is Independence-Heritage. The Indy quarterback is really special, but he was playing on a team with no seniors last year. With a fuller roster this year, I think they could make a run in their last year in Class 3.

I looked at the first half on NHFS and haven’t quite seen this type of offense before/ QB keeper most of the time. QB ran in the game 42 times??!!. Didn’t see much passing but that Qb run right. Its is a little like that big Louisa Qb Lafayette saw a few years ago. Interesting game coming up.

I can't remember whether it was Friday night or the week before, but they call a timeout with the ball on the 2. And I was thinking, "they need a timeout for that guy just to run it again for the 12th time this drive?"

He can throw, but his receivers don't have great hands. Some are quick though and can get open.

Yes, that was this past Friday night. In the second half they had one pass attempt but it was a big gain as Goochland totally uncovered the receiver. In the first half one screen play snd three other times he was quick to pull it back and run. Used those two other RB to lead block. I really don’t know Goochland very well but they never solved what you know was coming.
