Scoreless after a quarter at Courtland. Louisa will have the ball at the Cougars’ 26-yard-line to start the second quarter. The lions have turned the ball over on downs and via a fumble already, both deep in Courtland territory
Louisa 7, Courtland 0 on a 17-yd TD pass from Rob Allinder to James Washington. 10:27 left in half
Courtland’s most promising drive of the game so far took them from their own 29 to the Louisa 35 with less than a minute left in first half. After they stalled out on downs, however, it took Louisa less than 45 seconds to drive 60 yards for a touchdown. Quarterback Rob Allinder hit Mark Carter on a 26-yard pass down the right sideline to the Courtland 20, then found Noah Robinson over the middle for a 20-yard TD on the final play of the half to give the Lions a 14-0 lead.
Louisa now leads Courtland 21-0 with 3:21 left in 3rd after a 12-play, 80-yd TD drive. Kalup Shelton has five carries for 56 yds and the TD for the Lions there.
Allinder finds Carter on 3rd and 15 for a 23-yd TD pass that gives Louisa a 28-0 lead with 10:22 left in the game.
