There was little movement in the Top 10 this week. Charlottesville took a blow after losing to Albemarle (#4 in 5A) on Friday and fell to #16. Hugeunot takes their place at #10. Heritage-NN moved up after beating Phoebus, and the Amherst County Lancers are bumped all the way up to #13, after starting the year 4-1. Kettle Run shoots up to #14, after also starting off the year with only one loss. Eastern View falls to #18 after losing their rivalry game with 1-4 Culpeper. Louisa County falls to #24 after losing to Monticello in overtime then previously winless Patrick Henry-Ashland. #3 Smithfield takes on #6 Jamestown at JHS on Tuesday this week, in a battle of top 10s.

I know C-pep is only 1-4 but they have some talent. They may end up .500 or so but they will have a few eye opening wins along the way. EV should have won the game but it is not a horrible loss, especially this early in the season.

Yes...EV should have won that game. Good win for Culpeper. Hang around long enough and you never know what might happen.
