Both Rappahannock Softball and Northumberland Baseball State Champ teams just came through Tappahannock escorted by the Essex/Tappahannock Fire and Police Dept. They escorted the 2 buses through Town and across the bridge where they were passes off to the Richmond County (Rapp's home county) Fire and Police Dept. Rappahannock's fans lined the streets leading to the high school where they are having a pep rally for the softball team.

I'm told the Northumberland Baseball team will get the same once they reach their county.

Essex, Colonial Beach, Lancaster, Northumberland, Rappahannock, Washington & Lee and new member Rappahannock Co....We all are foe's but we love to see one another do well on the state level.
