any news from the Sherando or Handley scrimmages?

Haven't heard from anyone who was at the Handley scrimmage, but Sherando looked good against Spotswood. While I'm still concerned about how they're going to handle bigger and quicker teams, the line play looked better than last year in a few ways. Losing a D1 receiver for a while is going to hurt (the injury didn't happen during the scrimmage), unsure if he'll be back this year.

The team reminds me of the post-Metheny and pre-Entsminger years, except a step or two ahead in terms of size and explosive play potential.

Didn't see anything that would change my 7-3 to 9-1 prediction. Coach Hall will have them ready for James Wood next week. I expect James Wood to be highly motivated. They're a very experienced group facing a somewhat young Sherando team, and probably think they can get it done this year.
