On Saturday April 1, at the BRADLEY RELAYS held in Lynchburg, Va.1-A's Parry McCluer Senior Thrower, K J COOK notched the 2nd place spot (54'-8") in the Men's Shot-Put competition along with team mate and Junior, JOSHUA FISCHER sealing the 3rd place spot (50'-10")... COOK and FISCHER finished respectively only behind 3-A's Fort Defiance Senior thrower, Zach Bowyers who bested the field with a heave of 56'- 6" .. An Uncommon occurrence for COOK and FISCHER, the Discus competition was a different "plate" today for the PM duo as both struggled with the winds and their inability to get anything going with their throws in the "saucer event".. Cook eventually finished in the 4th place spot with Fischer falling in line at 9th spot behind Heritages' top Thrower and winner of the Discus competition with a heave of 157' .. CONGRATULATIONS, and my apologies to the Heritage Thrower, I did not get his name. This was the first time we've even competed with (against) him at a meet and it is my understanding that he is only a Sophomore!!! Great day for you young man.
