Parry McCluer Senior thrower, Josh Fischer took the First Place spot in both the Shot-Put and Discus events in the Blues' only home meet of the year..
In the Shot event Fischer threw 54'-4" and 143'-1" in the Discus. Both respectable marks but still a tick off of his personal best in both events..
ALSO, on April 13th at the All American Relays held in Radford, FISCHER QUALIFIED FOR THE "NEW BALANCE NATIONALS OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD MEET" in the shot event with his NEW "PR" THROW OF 57'-3"..
That mark lands Fischer, the lone PM senior thrower sitting in the #3 spot overall in the state of VIRGINIA and also ranks him at #50 overall in the COUNTRY.. Yes folks, IN THE COUNTRY!!!
