I've seen projections for this week that have Hurley at 210 & GW at 209. So if that's true Hurley would be #2, GW #3 if the season ended today.

Not that it matters too much since barring any major upsets GW should pass Hurley back next week.

Yeah I agree, I have been wanting to see GW v PM now for some time as I think they are the best two in the west. Hurley definitely has the team to keep up with PM, just not sure if they can stop those studs PM has in the backfield. PM has already beat Fort Chiswell on their field 50-14. Should make an interesting playoffs!

I think it comes down to schedule strength in a tie. That's how they decided Essex and Riverheads last year I believe.

I think last years Essex/Riverheads tie was decided based on the fact Essex played a team that played a 9 game schedule so they in fact lost an opportunity for the tenth game rider points. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that was the deciding factor.

You are correct. Colonial Beach played 10 games but one of them was against a non-recognized VHSL opponent

I think GW eeks out 2 seed, Fort 4 seed. 9,10,11 seeds will be close. If Bland looses and Auburn and Honaker also, Bland could still slide in. If Honaker wins and Bland looses than Honaker may get last spot. Auburn needs to win(with Bland loss more than likely) or get some upsets if they loose to Giles and should Bland loose.

I'm resigned to the fact that PM will be at 6 regardless. You think Covington will slip back up into that 11th spot? Makes for an intriguing rematch, though I'd prefer to play, say, Radford..an possibly exorcise some of those demons as well (aka..Bobcat dominance over PM over a 12 year period)

If Fort Chiswell and Chilhowie wins than PM stuck at six. If PH and JIB wins they are 7 and 8. Radford(with win over EM) and Narrows(with loss to Graham) will have a better chance at 9,10 with Covington(with a win over JR) at 11-but will be very close. Castlewood at 12 and Twin Valley( with a loss to Hurley) and Rural Retreat (with a loss to GW) in a close race for 13 and 14 seeds. A Honaker win would probably put Twin Valley at 13 seed.
