In recognition of the hard work Athletic Directors did during the 2020-21 school year, the VHSL has partnered with @virginia529 to recognize the efforts of these individuals. From Region 1A, we recognize Rappahannock athletic director Ryan Patterson.
Ryan was the leader of the Region 1A AD Advisory group during the pandemic. He freely gave of his time, spending countless hours for the region, constantly pushing to do what was best for student-athletes. In leading by example, Rappahannock participated in all three seasons during the pandemic, including the spring season, where his school won three region championships with one state championship and two runner-up finishes. @RHS_VAPrincipal @Rapp_Raiders_AD
