@DanvilleSportsHead any word on who GW is playing? I just found out Cville is the 6 seed and will travel to the 3 seed, who is either Jefferson Forest or Bassett, the tiebreaker is being determined by a coin flip. Any idea if y'all are the 1 or 2...?

There will be a coin flip this morning to determine the top seed. I will let you know when the verdict is out.

That number 1 seed is huge. Hard to beat my Danville boys in Danville this time of the year and likewise with Glass (especially with their student section underneath the basket). The gym will be packed. Not fun for opposing teams. Good luck to all.

You going BKP? Bassett has a very nice gym but it's a good drive for y'all, Bassett is about 45 minutes west of Danville.

Yeah I saw it's a good 2 hours and 45 minutes...I'll be there. Lord that's a big gym!

The thing I'm most excited about is the fact that the first round is on a Friday night...gonna be some packed gyms!

Bassett has a couple of shooters but no real ballers. @AntGZee, @Mayberryite and @hrsepasture1 could tell you more than me.

Magna Vista beat Bassett tonite in the 1st round of the Piedmont tourney. Bassett has 3-4 pretty good 3 point shooters but not much size. They had a hard time with athletic teams like Mavahi, GW, and MV.

Defend the perimeter and rebound against Bassett. Wes Brown is their best shooter. He has unbelievable range.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that match up. We owe Dan River some get back. Last year we didn't mentally get over that loss to Glenvar. Up 17 coming out of HT, that game should be over. I hope we are more focused for the playoffs this year.
