Thoughts?

I know the Gladitors dominated the scrimmage. Side note for that a lot of Strasburg 's starters did not play. No excuse.

For this matchup.
Is Riverheads totally healthy?

The LOS is gonna be huge. Both teams love to run it all night long. Strasburg has the size advantage on the lines, RH has the quickness advantage on the lines. Strasburg has 5 ball carriers including the qb. All different running styles. Conrad has returned for the Rams on the lines. His first 2 snaps against Fort were sacks. Strasburg did something they did not do all season they passed for 200 yards. Brady Knight played another great defensive game with another pic.

Riverheads is Riverheads in my opinion they love to run it play sound d and special teams. Didn't get to see them much at all. Definitely not as dominant in my eyes as when CCC was there. That is not a knock on this team at all.

My gut tells me Strasburg will win the LOS and in turn win a close one 24-21

I don't think Riverheads will lose a close game. Just not going to beat them if it's close I think. They are too experienced in late playoffs runs and it's hard to beat a team like that. If Strasburg puts the ball in the air like last week, they can win and win a game where its not that close. Riverheads does not like the football put in the air against them. They don't see it very much and can't replicate it in practice against their first team D. If Strasburg goes mono e mono on the LOS and battles Riverheads run for run, it's directly up Riverheads alley and Riverheads rarely loses games like this over the last 10 years. If Strasburg does a nice mix of run and pass, the Rams can surely win. It doesn't matter if Riverheads in a game or two this year were "dominated" or the LOS, (Stuarts Draft in Game 1). If the opponent goes run for run with them and does that usual grind it out football game where everything is settled on the ground, Riverheads on the line of scrimmage I promise you, will appear like a different team. Ask Stuarts Draft. To beat Riverheads and it's hard to do, a team has to put the ball in the air Early on and get a lead and make Riverheads play from behind. Easier said than done, but Strasburg is certainly good enough to beat Riverheads.

This should be a good game. If Strasburg executes the diversity on Offense that they demonstrated against Fort, then they certainly have a better chance to be successful. Thats not to say they will not have success in their run game because frankly it is pretty dang good as well. Speaking of the LOS, year in and out Riverheads is undersized so honestly that is what it is.

Strasburg has checked all the boxes, and their dismantling of Fort showed just how dominant they can be. That diversity that was displayed will go a long way in the playoffs regardless of opponent. I would venture to say that the defense is pretty dang good as well since we know firsthand that Fort had a dynamic offense of their own this season.

Riverheads is young across the board but have grown a ton this season. Super proud of the underclassmen contributing as the game speed has slowed down. On the road is a tough sled to pull but if its close I like the composure this group has shown in several games facing adversity.

This one should definitely be worth the price of admission this Friday.
