Roanoke Times on Salem vs Blacksburg

Offense seemed to enforce their will, D gave up some pass plays but the flip side is Blacksburg QB went 11/30 with 3 picks and was harrassed all night (which was a good continuation from the NS game). I'm not really going to sweat the yardage, Blacksburg's going to get those yards when they throw 30+ times a game anyway.

I would just like to see them deliver the KO punch when they have the chance earlier. They were driving to go up by 21 in the third quarter and fumbled the center/QB exchange on 1st down for a turnover. Then they had a very short FG attempt in the 4th quarter that would have given them a three score lead and missed it.
By far the best the OL has played so far... the improved production while running the FB was probably the most encouraging thing for me. Also, the QB play was much better than last week against Northside. Chaney had some issues on the quick throws outside being overthrown but seems to be turning things around.
