So who are the favorites?

With the baseball season getting ready for district tourneys, who appears to be the big dogs in each region? Not much chatter on here.

In 2D, it's Lebanon then everyone else. They're the clear frontrunners to win the region. Virginia High is prob second best, maybe Battle or Wise after that. If Lebanon can't bring home a state title this year, their best shot may have passed them by.

Dogwood does a good job posting about that district, is Chatham the favorite in 2C?

Anyone know who else has a realistic shot?

2C is Chatham can’t remember their last loss? (Since they won the 2019 title)

2B not sure what the standings are for other districts, but Buckingham has to be one school that is being talked about. Won the district title for the first time in I am thinking at minimum a decade, and will host a semi

Thank you. Chatham is the defending state champions from 2019 and I hope they go undefeated. Great talent on that squad. Interesting fact, Assistant Coach Lee Arnold - who son is one of their top players in Matt Arnold - used to coach the OL at Dan River back during the Ken Meadors era (RIP).
