Richlands 12, Elizabethton (TN) 0
The Richlands Blue Tornado improved to 2-0 with a 19-hit barrage on Thursday in a 12-0 softball win over the Elizabethton Cyclones.
Mac Osborne drove in four runs on four hits for Richlands while Chloe Newberry added three hits.
Osborne also starred in the circle, tossing a three-hit shutout with four strikeouts.
Graham 19, Bluefield (WV) 2
An inside-the-park home run was among Jocilyn Thompson's four hits as the Graham G-Girls got the best of rival Bluefield.
Rachael Rife, Kylee Thompson, Madison Johnson, Victoria Rider, Hannah Hass and Hailee Boyle added two hits apiece for Graham.
Gate City 4, (1A) Eastside 3
Morgan Baker doubled and singled, and Kate Pendleton scattered five hits to lead the Blue Devils past the Spartans.
Eastside (0-1) was paced by Maggie Odle, who had a pair of singles. Liz Brace took the loss in the circle.

(1A) Holston 4, Marion 2
Leo Ezzell allowed just two hits and Holston scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning en route to a non-district win.
Marion pitchers James Conley and Caleb Osborne combined on a five-hitter while striking out seven for first-year coach Nolan Lipscomb.
Tyler Pennington supplied a run-scoring single for Marion.
Gate City 5, (1A) Eastside 2
Tyler Hamm struck out seven in earning a complete-game victory on the mound as the Gate City Blue Devils improved to 2-0.
Nick Raymond had two of Eastside's eight hits, while Austin Rittenberry connected for a double in defeat.
Gate City 8, Tazewell 5 (Wednesday)
Drew Meyers and Tyler Hamm each had two hits as Gate City topped Tazewell in Jonathan Salyer's debut as the head coach of the Blue Devils.
Meyers also got the win on the mound, in a game that featured a combined 20 strikeouts and six errors.
Girls Soccer:
Virginia High 8, Grayson County 0
Maria Wilson scored three goals as Virginia High easily rolled to a season-opening victory over Grayson County.
Halee Branch, Beiance Davis, Hannah Hicks, Sawyer Stevens and Adie Ratcliffe also scored for the Bearcats. Haley Pham was in goal for the shutout.
