#11 Brookville 24- 16 over #6 Liberty-Bedford
#13 Christiansburg 13-12 over #4 Heritage (Wow!)

and more impressively

#16 Waynesboro 46-15 over #1 Hidden Valley.... in a blowout

I went to the game and CHS defense was awesome

I am more surprised at Hertiage losing than I am HV and Liberty .

As a fan I was hoping their defense would play at that level more this year. Tended to give up the home run plays too much.

Blue Demons' defense was good, but CHS' offense possessed the ball for more minutes (32:47) than Heritage had plays (31)..I'm not sure how much of it was Heritage's defense, a strong Blue Demons' running attack or a strong CHS defense, but good luck to them. They deserved this one..

Another thing is that they had so little fans, I couldn't believe it. It is a shame with the record they had and playing in a playoffs, pitiful. It was the smallest crowd I have ever seen. I saw several Amherst fans there as well and one agreed that he couldn't believe it. Even with Amherst record this year, we had more fans at our game than Heritage did for this playoff game.

That is a crazy amount of TOP. Christiansburg's line must really have dominated and wore out Heritage keeping their defense on the field 2/3 of the game.

Christiansburg's offense ran 80 plays compared to Heritage's 34. That's the way to beat Heritage--keep their offense off the field
