Nine wrestlers from Washington & Lee advanced to the VHSL Group A state championships to be held this Friday and Saturday at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA. Only two teams in all of Group A (Glenvar & Strasburg with 10 each) had more student-athletes advance to the state championships than W&L. The Eagles, in its second season of competition, finished third overall in the VHSL Group A, Region A championships held last weekend at Northampton H.S.
