Washington & Lee And Colonial Beach

This is easily the best game in Region A this week. I plan on attending just to get a look for a potential match for The Tigers next week. If the ground conditions were dry I would pick WL 24 - 18, but with a wet field I will lend toward the ground game of Colonial Beach to win out 24-12, should be a very competitive affair, CB vs Sussex potentially is a game I'm not hoping for due to what The Tigers have to deal with in the future. Don't you just love high school football, thanks to all the student athletes in the commonwealth who give us old timers something to chop it up about !

I'm sure it was two very different weeks of practice after last week's game. W&L trying to get their kids to believe they can beat a team that just throttled them and CB trying to get their kids to focus and prepare for a battle and not to get over confident from last week's game

Sorry to break it to you but this won't be much of a game. Colonial Beach completely shut down WnL last week at Westmoreland. CB wins big at home in this one, if you're looking for the best game in region A then check out West Point vs Norththumberland. If West Point doesn't find a way to contain the big plays from Palmer I see Northumberland I see them pulling off the "upset".

I do think that the W&L @ Beach game could be more exciting than last week's thumping, but I would agree that the Northumberland @ West Point is the must game to see this week in Region A.

From one Tiger to another...I think we are moving too fast. I have stated several times these Tigers are not the Tigers of old. Middlesex skill players are legit. The game Friday should be a good one...either way #TigerPride

Yes I agree in my earlier post I suggested Friday will not be easy for our Tigers! Tiger Pride Forever

I think Sussex with conjure up spirits from the past and put together an impressive win. My Eagles on the other hand. I just don't know if they are hungry at all or have that ability to reach down deep inside and pull that pride out from those last two games. I didn't see any and that hurts... I think one thing but I will keep that to myself. Hope the guys start listening to Coach Taylor this week because I can't stomach another game like the last two weeks. Good luck Eagles

Good luck to your Eagles, they should play loose tonight with no pressure . They have a chance if they believe it and in each other !

A complete change in offense Friday night was too much for the Drifters. I believe this battle was won at practice, or lack there of last week. W&L Coach Taylor learned from last week and made changes to account for it, while with bad weather and a convincing 44-0 win by CB, may have led to a more rest and recover week. Either way, still three NND teams in the mix and at least 1 going to the Regional game.

Great Coaching you must be able to watch film and make adjustments, I think CB got caught peeping a week ahead.
