Interested to hear everyone's thoughts. I am talking about this year. Not historically.

1.) Commonwealth - Colonial Forge, Stafford, Massopanox, Riverbend, North Stafford
2.) Capital - HSHS, Henrico, Varina, PHA, LD
3.) Cardinal - Hilton, Freedom Woodbridge, Battlefield, Woodbridge
4.) District 1 - Westfield, Madison, & Centerville,
5.) Dominion - Bird, JR, Monacan, Manchester
6.) South Eastern - Oscar Smith, Deep Creek , Kings Fork, Western Branch
7.) Beach - Salem, Ocean Lakes, Landstown, Cox, Bayside
8.) Central - Dinwiddie, Thomas Dale, Hopewell

Heck, no contest in my book. The Commonwealth.

What district is Stonebridge in and what other strong teams are in it?

Stone Bridge plays in the new Potomac District with Broad Run, Tuscarora, Briar Woods, Champe, Freedom (LC), Potomac Falls, and Rock Ridge. Arguably one the top three toughest districts this year along with the Commonwealth and maybe the Capitol, IMO. I would normally make a case for District 1 in most years, but this year the bottom is just horrible (and it is only 5 teams).

I'd have that district maybe 4th. You think that is better than the cardinal district?

Yes, top to bottom. It is also a question of what is meant by "toughest". Is it the toughest district to win, given the top to bottom quality of teams? Or is "toughest" meant as a comparison of one district teams playing/winning against another (hypothetically). I tend to treat the definition as winning your district.

I won't bash this bc I know Cal preps has no intimate knowledge of VAHSFB and they just use a computer algorithm to figure this stuff out but hard to imagine an undefeated Landstown in 6A is ranked number 67 in the state! I do appreciate that they are at least giving us talking / debate points.

I'll make my top 25 regardless of classification on a new thread. That will always spark a debate
