lets throw this out there. It's the MJ/ jerry colangelo question(sort of). Who wins championships in high school? Is it the coach or the players?
My take is players win championships, coaches lose them. A good team can overcome bad coaching. It happens all the time. But a bad coach can ruin a good team by not being able to adjust, knowing who to play or how to substitute, and by not getting players better.
I do believe that a large sampling can show something about coaches. Look at what the program was like before the coach took over, what have they done since, look at the total program including the jv program, and dobthe players improve within the program or is it up to the AAU coaches to get them better?
Just throwing out a topic to discuss as we start the best part of the season, playoffs!!!(even if everyone makes the state tournament. Haha another subject for another time)
