Bo, I was wondering why GW didn't play Reidsville. Gretna and Martinsville both at least gave it a shot this year. The Rams are just to much to handle. Would love to see a game between JM and Reidsville.
The Coaches for the Cure Basketball event in Glen Allen Virginia featured six games including a Middle school showdown. Although highly recruited Highland 5-star Nate Ament wasn't available, there was plenty of talent who displayed their skills.

I agree with you, Hopewell schedule is also tough even in football. The fact that you still have to play your district schedule and win those games is tough enough but the non district game are even tougher . But in the long run it makes them ready come playoff time. Last night Varina game was a battle and Varina is the number 2 team in C4 Hopewell plays Highland springs the last game of the year for the last non district game in which should be a good test also C6. Which also helps in point ratings for seeing. Good luck teams.
In 3A playing bigger schools only matters if you lose. You get 7 points for a win no matter who it’s against. You get 1 point per difference in higher classification for a loss.
Hawks didn’t give up and represented Pittsylvania County well. Two small town schools had the gym at capacity before the varsity took the court. Too bad the C4 school, 18 miles away from Reidsville, in Danville won’t play the Rams.

757 basketball is just better than the 804 right now. I was told Woodside was without 3 key guys and the refs were insanely bad. 75 got at least 8 programs that could win it all, the 804 has 5 (Varina, Hopewell, JM and Monacan). Hopewell and JM are the only two that could beat the 757’s best if you ask me.
I don’t like it cause New Kent schedule is no where near as tough as Hopewell or Lake Taylor. Give either one of them New Kent schedule they’ll be undefeated also
