First round games are scheduled for Monday (Memorial Day) for both softball and baseball but the weather sounds threatening. I see that Fort Defiance at Buckingham baseball has already moved their game to Tuesday. So let's use this thread to keep one another posted on the game times and results.
In the case of my Gladiators, there is some conflicting information out there, but my understanding is that the boys and girls are both scheduled to play at home at 3:00 on their adjoining fields just like we are used to. Baseball is hosting Stuarts Draft and softball is hosting Clarke County.
The good news is that the semi-final rounds are scheduled for Wednesday and the regional finals for Friday. So once we get past that threat of storms, there will be decent weather the rest of the week for making up the games that might get rained out Monday.
