I wanna try to get this back going for next season. Trying to compile a list of schedules for the 2023 season for the Dogwood District schools. I know all of Dan River - including their home scrimmages vs. Halifax County and Randolph-Henry and I know all the Dogwood District games.

Or will there just be one less team?

I believe his uncle is Rohan Marley, the son of Bob Marley, the reggae artist. Rohan played for Miami in college and later in CFL and is now an entrepreneur.

The bats of the Lady Cavs were on fire today as they defeated Strasburg 14-1 in 5 innings. Numerous Cavs had multiple hits and Taylor Johnson had a solid performance. Strasburg did put together some hits in the 2nd, but after that, Johnson shut them down. Onto the state semifinals on Friday at 1pm.

Way to go Cougars on your state championship in baseball on Saturday. I believe it was the first team championship in school history. Couldn't happen to a better and hard working bunch of kids and coaches. Good luck in your new district next year!!

Easily one of the hardest schedule I’ve ever seen from a VHSL public school. Major respect to Dyrii and his staff for putting this together. They will be beyond battle tested. Start with a benefit game (scrimmage) against Phoebus, then go on road to Maryland to play a team that went 11-2 last year, at home against Highland Springs, then agreed to go where no one wants to play Dinwiddie (and that’s said with the upmost respect), and finish that 5 game stretch with their rival Lake Taylor.

How do people see Maury surviving that 4 game stretch? Remember the Phoebus game won’t count.
