4A West Round 2 #3 Salem vs. #6 Millbrook

No idea who wins this. I've never seen Salem. But I will say it again, if you can stop Kier AND Smith, you will win.
With Mike under the weather, this matchup has been low key on the forum. So I'll add my thoughts. One of the factors that looms large to me is Salem having essentially two weeks to prepare for Millbrook.
Coach Mags has a tremendous coaching staff. Millbrook may have too, I just know nothing about them, that's all. But the Salem staff is a well oiled machine. As long as the Salem kids don't come out flat, I expect to see a well executed game plan, geared to stopping Kier and Smith. Salem has had the opportunity to make player adjustments after losing a vital ingredient a few weeks ago. So, I don't look for that lose to be a significant problem.
Millbrook knows everybody considers them the underdog. They have a lot they want to prove. I expect them to go into that hostile environment called Salem Stadium, prepared and focused. If they can get up early and stay even or close into the second half, I think they can pull off the upset. Do I think that will happen? Film at 11:00, as they say.
