In an article posted in the Richmond Times Dispatch a little earlier, Demond Claiborne has been named All Metro Player Of The Year. He is the first KW football player to ever win this award and to my knowledge, only the 2nd KW athlete to win the award in all sports. This award traditionally goes to the bigger schools in Richmond, so to see a KW athlete win it, just once again shows how special this kid is. Not to go unnoticed, teammate Jayveon Robinson made 1st Team Defense as well.
