This is a story to follow but not really to report on just yet. Armstrong High School, the Wildcats as they are known athletically might be closing. If you read the article attached, you will see what the city and school board are dealing with. If Armstrong were to close, it would come 13 years after Armstrong and John F. Kennedy consolidated into one at the old JFK site. It would also leave just four schools in the city of Richmond; John Marshall and Thomas Jefferson north of the river and George Wythe & Huguenot south of the river.
