Hopewell pulling away late in the 4th up by 12 points with 30 seconds. Meridian is soild with good shooters . Final 55-43 Hopewell. Good game. Hopewell will play next Saturday in Richmond at 1:00 VCU.
Yes he did. I've said all year he's the x factor for Hopewell to win the championship.
They played tough . Hopewell actually did not play this best game to me. Byrd the Hopewell point guard had an off game but other players picked up the Slack. Looking forward to the championship game against Spotswood.
Byrd will need to play well in the championship. I wonder if he's the one who will guard Pacheco if they play man to man, or if they let Cherry. Spotswood is definitely for real. All season, most thought it'd be Hopewell and Northside in the championship, but Spotswood had other ideas.
I agree. Hopewell did not play their best and still beat an undefeated team by double digits. Hopewell by 10 on Saturday.
