A wide open Tigers receiver drops a pass in the endzone. Oscar Smith nearly had the chance to tie with an XP.
Would JM have gone for the tie if that penalty hadn’t been called? That pushed the xpt back far enough to be iffy? That's a bogus call. Refs should be ashamed. You can't call that a flag after the Hail Mary
Both touchdown celebration penalties were bogus for O/S and J/M in the final min/sec were bs. It’s the state championship, final moments let it go! Ruined a great game/finish.That's a bogus call. Refs should be ashamed. You can't call that a flag after the Hail Mary
OS spun the ball and danced in EZ. JM outside team box, one or two players, okay, 5+ its a penalty. You get those calls Week 2, why not Week 15?Anyone know what the kid or kids did which caused the excessive celebration penalty to be called?
And where was the officiating crew from? I'm guessing Richmond?
I didn’t see anything on both calls when Smith scored and when Madison scored, must of been something someone said, but nothing out of the ordinary from any other td celebration that I seen all day.Anyone know what the kid or kids did which caused the excessive celebration penalty to be called?

I rarely ever complain about the refs, but in a state title game between 2 undefeated teams leaving it all on the field, there's no way either call should have been made. Not against Smith, and definitely not on the last play of the game on one of the best Hail Mary plays I've ever seen. Instead of everyone talking about that play and the potential OT, here we are discussing how the refs made it about themselves and ruined what was otherwise a great championship gameI didn’t see anything on both calls when Smith scored and when Madison scored, must of been something someone said, but nothing out of the ordinary from any other td celebration that I seen all day.
