Far Eastern Virginia Friday Night Lights - 9/9/16

Week 3 - 9 games - Some big games for many teams, it might be early in the season, but there could be some make or break games for a few....

Looks like all games this week are old Region A teams against each other, its late, so fix any errors or if I missed a game. Please make some comments on any game that interests you.

Colonial Beach at Franklin (big one...who ya got?)

Northumberland at Northampton (Indians should prevail but the ES team has improved)

Rappahannock at Middlesex (both need a win badly)

West Point at W&L (hmmm...will WP knock off the Eagles at home and go to 3-0?...if so, it will be a long season for W&L)

Essex at King William (must win for Essex I would think, KW had good victory last week)

Chincoteague at King & Queen (should be a great contest, can Tigers get 1st win for new Coach?)

Mathews at Lancaster (big game for both of these teams, we will learn more about them both)

Charles City at Sussex (just how good is this Sussex squad?)

Arcadia at Nandua (a battle of Eastern Shore rivals)

Many of these games are big in the Old Region A area. The Essex at KW contest would be the bigger one on the Statewide stage...

Looking at the Pick em's - two East games stand out....

CB at Franklin - 20 to 9 votes in favor of Franklin.

If at home I'd say CB. Still Lucas might be enough for a CB win...

West Point at W&L - 15 to 15 TIE

I'll break it. If at WP, I'd go with WP. However, I still think WP wins even at the Eagles Nest.
