Down 14-6 at the start of the 4th quarter, the Sussex Central Tigers rallied for a 26-20 double-overtime road victory over the Lancaster Red Devils on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
Sussex, which fell in the opener to Essex, evens its record to 1-1 overall.
The Tigers now lead the all-time series with Lancaster 5-1. They also notched wins in 1989 (54-0), 1996 (34-30), 1998 (22-7) and 2017 (30-0).
Lancaster's lone win over Sussex came in 1997 by a count of 39-30 when the Red Devils were under the direction of Ulysses Turner.
