Class 2 girls basketball state championship between Luray (27-2) and Central-Wise (26-5). Bulldogs are seeking their second straight state title and enter on a 19-game winning streak

End of 1Q: Central-Wise 16, Luray 13.

Emilee Weakley with a bucket just before the first-quarter buzzer.

She's got the last 10 points for the Bulldogs after Amber Tharpe hit a 3 to open the game.

Luray has been uncharacteristically sloppy early on

I notice the free throw disparity in the second half- luray 0 -Central 12

As someone pointed out, the turnovers killed Luray. I had not heard about this Wise freshman. She looks like she will end up with a career like Weakley. Definitely the only real "game" of the day.
