The Warriors pulled away in the fourth quarter to earn a Mountain 7 District win after leading by just two points to start the final period.

Hannah Carter paced Wise County Central (15-1, 6-1) with 13 points and Brook Porter added a dozen on the strength three 3-pointers.

The Warriors also got 10 points from Dee Cvetnich.

Kayla Bird hit four 3-pointers to record a 12-point showing for Gate City (7-10, 4-5), which also got three 3s and 11 points from Kate Pendleton.
