Hair Tie Suspension

This seems a little crazy to me. In basketball we make the kids take off the jewlery and ties and hair bows. Seems kind of stiff penalty.

A little crazy?...more like hugely ridiculous. A rubber band under a glove and a sweatband under a sock. How horrible and dangerous. Like coach Wooten would actually knew the kids had those hidden away. Where is the common sense?

If, as an official, I ever have to stoop to the level of looking under gloves and socks for things like hair ties and sweat bands, I'll hang 'em up.
