Hey blackknight-do you know what happened with Monticello? Looks like a couple of their players are no longer on the roster. Grades maybe?

The semester just ended Monday for the county schools around here, so I'd say it's most likely grades. You have to pass five classes in order to play, so I assume the players no longer on the roster have not fulfilled that requirement.

I expect the Charlottesville @ Louisa game to be a really good one. With the insertion of 6'4" Chris Shelton onto the floor it gives Louisa another scoring option along with rebounding.

No he's been out because of injury. Coach Shelton have been bringing him along slowly the past few games. Last night against Monticello I liked what I saw. He scored 7 points in very limited minutes. They are a completely different team when he's in the mix.

Louisa's post presence will bother Charlottesville then. It will be hard for 6'4 Khalil Vest to go up against the likes of Louisa's frontcourt, and Poindexter is a beast. I think it will all come down to who plays better, Charlottesville's guards of Jaylen Hudson and Sam Neale, or Louisa's forwards like Chris Steppe and Malik Bell.

And Louisa plays Courtland tonight, if I'm not mistaken. Gotta root for the district! Go Lions!
