As expected, PM Senior, K J COOK and PM Junior, JOSHUA FISCHER owned the Shot-Put competition at yesterdays meet held at Riverheads HS despite the 40 degree cold and windy conditions.. It was back and forth between Cook and Fischer with no one else really a threat as the other top PM thrower Senior, Jeremy Nelson struggled to keep his throws in bounds.. The 6'-5" 255 pound Fischer actually had a chance to take the win on his last throw of the day with a heave of 54' and some change but was unable to complete the follow through and scratched his best throw of the day... Cook took 1st with a heave of 51' - 3" and Fischer sealed 2nd with 50' - 8", both well off of their "Personal Bests" obviously due to the weather... Cook also took 1st in the Discus with Fischer finishing a close 3rd just behind Buffalo Gap Senior, Weatherman... On the Ladies side, PM's Kiki George took the 1st place spot in the Shot-Put with her "Personal Best" throw of 31" - 5" Congratulations to the PM Throwers...
