Radio Link for Blacksburg and Halifax

It'll definitely be interesting to see how the 5OT game affects the Comets. I think it matured them in a game-on-the-line situation after starting off the season with two losses to GW. There was a lot more 3s made the past two games than the first two (They didn't make a single 3 in the second game vs GW which is pretty uncharacteristic for any Comet team). Waller stepped up big time in the first few games making more than his 3s and dunks last year. The team has gotten better at avoiding foul trouble and has been pretty solid at making other teams commit fouls in the paint. There needs to be an improvement rebounding on both sides of the ball if we want to make a serious run for the championship. Handley, Smithfield, and Eastern View are no joke and have played over double the amount of games Halifax has. Blacksburg cannot be overlooked either.

If Halifax wants to win a basketball championship anytime soon, now is the year to do it.

Halifax has been there before and they are the most experienced team left in the field. Played much much better today. Kam Roberts is special and if the Blue Comets win it all, it’s only right if he’s the Class 4 Player of the Year. Halifax is 4 deep with Roberts, Ferrell, Davon Jennings and Waller. Idk if anyone left in the field has that many options. Halifax has to close teams out, should’ve beat Blacksburg by 10-15 today. I get it’s their 6th game and they had some trouble with transportation today. They’ve handled adversity really well this year. This year should not be downplayed. Loss to GW twice, just to send them home and play two opponents 3+ hours away and win.
