Coach Scott Thackston describes Monacan as “young and experienced.” Consistent play from the bottom of the lineup will determine how far Monancan is able to go. Sophomore Quint Dingledine is one of the region’s top players and will anchor the lineup, along with fellow sophomore Brayden Latham.
Junior Jessica Rathbone of Patrick Henry won the Class 4, Region B tournament last year, shooting a 1-over 73 at Mattaponi Springs.
Hanover graduated senior Jimmy Hill, but returns sophomore Andrew Wilkinson and senior Christian Dyer.
Midlothian’s Dylan Fox was named second-team All-Metro last year and helped the Trojans win the region tournament. He returns as Midlo’s top golfer.
Dinwiddie returns two seniors in Trent Henshaw and Cody Stanford who qualified for the region tournament last year.
