Springers win big over Indian River

The Springers scored 2:31 seconds into the game, and their offense never slowed. Juwan Carter completed 17 of 25 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Dortch caught nine passes for 134 yards AND returned a kickoff for a touch down.
D.J. Anderson rushed for 130 yards, and Highland Springs defeated Indian River (Chesapeake) 35-10 on Saturday in the 5A state semifinals.
